The Role

\n
• Delivering to stores and RDCs
\n
• Mixture of Express Stores and Superstores
\n
• Operating single and double deck trailers
\n
• Store deliveries and distribution work
\n
• Vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork
\n
• Working in line with Driver Hours and Transport Legislation
\n
• Maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer service
\n

Shift Start Times

Days

Starts between 06:00 and 09:00

Nights

Starts between 15:00 and 22:00

Average shift length: 10-12 hours

Pay Rates

\n
• Monday to Friday Days: £15.15 per hour
\n
• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
\n
• Saturday & Sunday Days: £18.15 per hour
\n
• Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour
\n

\n
• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
\n
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
\n
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
\n
• Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
\n
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
\n
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
