Principal Platform Engineer - Active DV

Yeovil | 3-4 days onsite | Up to £75/hour | Inside IR35

SR2 is partnering with an exciting client delivering secure government technology programmes.

\n

You'll take a lead role in designing, building and improving secure enterprise platforms, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

  • Leading secure platform and infrastructure delivery
    • \n
  • Producing HLDs and LLDs
    • \n
  • Supporting VMware Cloud Foundation environments
    • \n
  • Working across Windows and Linux
    • \n
  • Driving automation with Terraform, Ansible and PowerShell
    • \n
  • Mentoring engineers and engaging with stakeholders
    • \n

\nYou'll need\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Active DV clearance
    • \n
  • Strong VMware and VCF experience
    • \n
  • vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T and Aria knowledge
    • \n
  • Windows and Linux experience
    • \n
  • Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or similar
    • \n
  • HLD and LLD experience
    • \n
  • Secure government, defence or enterprise experience
    • \n
\n

Location: Yeovil, 3-4 days onsite
Rate: Up to £75/hour Inside IR35
