Job Description

A growing construction consultancy in Bristol is looking for a Project Manager to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to work across a varied portfolio of commercial, education, heritage, and wider built environment projects. The Project Manager will manage projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior colleagues. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who can take ownership of project delivery, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain strong client relationships. The successful Project Manager will join a supportive regional team with clear progression opportunities and strong professional development support. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role. The Project Manager's role The Project Manager will support and lead projects across Bristol and the wider South West, working through both pre-contract and post-contract stages. The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, procurement support, contract administration, project reporting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and contractor liaison. The Project Manager will chair project meetings, monitor progress, maintain project documentation, and help ensure schemes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear advice to clients throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager The successful Project Manager will have: Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment Experience delivering commercial, education, heritage, or similar construction projects A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction project delivery Experience managing projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities A proactive, professional, and commercially aware approach In Return? £45,000 - £55,000 Pension contribution Professional membership fees paid APC and chartership support Ongoing training and professional development Varied commercial, education, and heritage project exposure Clear progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative Bristol team Hybrid working may be available Project Manager | Bristol Project Manager | Commercial Project Manager | Education Projects | Heritage Projects | Construction Consultancy
