\nWe are seeking to appoint English Lecturers, either part-time or full-time, to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English within our cross-College provision. This role primarily targets vocational learners aged 16-18, with a growing provision for part-time adult learners.
\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to GCSE and Functional Skills students.Play a key role in supporting vocational learners with their development, helping them progress onto higher courses or enter the workplace.Join a team of skilled teachers, contributing to a collaborative environment by sharing best practices aimed at engaging and enthusing resit learners.Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.Required Skills & Qualifications:Preferably possess a degree in English or a related subject.Experience in teaching or tutoring English GCSE and/or Functional Skills.Proven ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18-year-olds from various vocational disciplines.Strong organizational and communication skills.Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching practices.
