Early Years Practitioner - Level 3

Reed Education are looking to recruit caring and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to work within primary school Early Years units across Scunthorpe from September.

We are seeking professionals with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and experience supporting young children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will be confident supporting children aged 3+ and creating engaging, inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children within nursery and reception-age classrooms
\n
• Delivering learning opportunities that support EYFS development goals
\n
• Supporting children with a variety of SEN needs
\n
• Encouraging children's independence, confidence, and communication skills
\n
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences
\n
• Monitoring and recording children's progress and development
\n
• Assisting with personal care where required
\n
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
\n

\n
• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
\n
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
\n
• Experience supporting children aged 3+ in educational or childcare settings
\n
• Previous experience supporting children displaying SEN needs
\n
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• A proactive, patient, and positive attitude
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
\n
