Location: Derby (On-site)
\nSalary: £42,612 - £50,949
\nHours: Part-Time – 29.6 hours per week
Champion Wellbeing. Support Your Workforce. Make a Difference.\nWe're looking for an experienced Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor to join a well-established in-house Occupational Health team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a proactive occupational health service that supports employee wellbeing, improves attendance, and helps create a healthy, high-performing workplace.
The Role\nAs an Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor, you'll provide expert clinical advice and support to employees, managers, and HR while delivering a comprehensive occupational health service.
\nYour responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Managing a varied occupational health case management caseload. \n
- Producing clear, evidence-based management reports with recommendations on fitness for work, workplace adjustments, recuperative duties, and return-to-work programmes. \n
- Providing professional occupational health advice and guidance to managers, employees, and HR. \n
- Participating in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings, offering medical advice to support informed decision-making. \n
- Undertaking health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments where required. \n
- Promoting health and wellbeing initiatives to support a positive workplace culture. \n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN. \n
- A Postgraduate Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Occupational Health. \n
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor. \n
- Knowledge and experience of health surveillance and fitness-for-work assessments. \n
- Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills. \n
