Hybrid - London | 28 Hours per Week | £45,000 (c£60,000 FTE) | 2-Year Fixed Term Contract

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, values-led organisation seeking an accomplished Head of People & Culture to lead an ambitious programme of strategic HR initiatives. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll partner with senior leaders to shape people strategy, deliver organisational change and ensure the organisation continues to provide an outstanding employee experience.

The Opportunity

\n

This is a broad and influential role where you'll lead key People & Culture projects while providing strategic HR leadership across the organisation.

\n

You'll be responsible for:

    \n
  • Leading major People & Culture programmes, including reward reviews, employee engagement initiatives and policy development.
  • \n
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders on complex employee relations and organisational challenges.
  • \n
  • Driving organisational change and supporting workforce planning and organisational development.
  • \n
  • Leading on employment law compliance, ensuring policies and practices remain up to date with legislative changes.
  • \n
  • Supporting union engagement and fostering positive employee relations.
  • \n
  • Coaching and developing managers to build leadership capability across the organisation.
  • \n
  • Producing insightful people reporting to support strategic decision making.
  • \n
  • Line managing and supporting the HR Advisor.
  • \n

About You

\n

We're looking for an experienced People professional who enjoys working strategically while remaining close to delivery.

\n

You'll bring:

\n
    \n
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent senior HR experience.
  • \n
  • Significant experience in a senior HR or People leadership role.
  • \n
  • A proven track record of delivering organisational change and complex HR projects.
  • \n
  • Strong employment law knowledge and experience managing organisational risk.
  • \n
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership teams and influencing key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Excellent coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • \n
  • A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
  • \n
