Fabricator Welder

We’re currently looking for an experienced sheet metal TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our busy workshop in Dronfield. You’ll fabricate and assemble a variety of products from stainless and mild steel materials using mainly TIG welding process to produce accurate, high quality work.

The role

\n
• Fabricate, assemble and weld sheet metal components.
\n
• Read and work from engineering drawings and measurements.
\n
• TIG and MIG weld to a high standard.
\n
• Cut, drill, grind and prepare materials using workshop tools and machinery.
\n
• Check finished work for accuracy, quality and structural integrity.
\n
• Keep your work area, tools and equipment safe, clean and well maintained.
\n

About you

\n
• Proven experience as a Fabricator / TIG Welder in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
\n
• Strong TIG and MIG welding skills and confidence with reading CAD/engineering drawings.
\n
• Familiar and confident with welding thin gauge stainless steel, ranging from 0.9mm > 3mm+.
\n
• Good attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances.
\n
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
\n
• Good understanding of workshop health & safety.
\n
