This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and growing department where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality commercial property work while working alongside experienced solicitors on complex and high-value transactions.Role The successful candidate will join the firm's expanding Commercial Property department, providing support to experienced solicitors across a varied caseload of commercial property matters. This opportunity would suit an ambitious Commercial Property Paralegal or Legal Assistant who is looking to continue developing their career within a respected and progressive law firm. You will be involved in a wide variety of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, development work, refinancing transactions and due diligence, while working closely with experienced lawyers who are committed to supporting your ongoing development. The successful candidate will be primarily based in the firm's Stafford office, with occasional travel to another office as business needs require.Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:\n

• Assisting fee earners on a broad range of commercial property transactions

• Supporting acquisitions, disposals, development projects and landlord & tenant matters
\n
• Carrying out legal research and property due diligence
\n
• Opening new client matters and undertaking file inception procedures
\n
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
\n
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and Land Registry forms
\n
• Liaising with clients, lenders, local authorities and third parties
\n
• Preparing completion packs and assisting with post-completion matters
\n
• Managing diaries, organising documentation and supporting the wider Commercial Property team
\n
• Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining exceptional levels of client care and attention to detail
