Job Description
Elevation HR are excited to be working exclusively with a Construction & Engineering Business as they look to appoint a HR Advisor a full-time, permanent basis in Sheffield.

You'll have the autonomy to lead the HR function while being supported by a wider group HR team and reporting directly to the HR Director. As the first point of contact for all HR matters on site, you'll manage a broad generalist remit, including employee relations, organisational development and HR systems implementation and continuous improvement.

- Build strong relationships across the group, acting as the first point of contact for HR advice and supporting managers with day-to-day people matters. \n
- Manage a broad employee relations caseload, providing practical guidance on policies, procedures and employment legislation while ensuring a fair and consistent approach. \n
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, employment documentation and supporting a positive employee experience. \n
- Partner closely with the People Administration team to maintain accurate HR records, coordinate payroll changes and ensure data integrity across all entities. \n
- Produce and maintain HR data, metrics and reports to provide meaningful insights that support business decision-making and continuous improvement. \n
- Contribute to group-wide HR projects and initiatives, driving consistency, compliance and best practice across multiple business units. \n
The ideal candidate will have:

- Be comfortable working autonomously in a standalone HR position. \n
- Demonstrable experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role, preferably in fast paced manufacturing or engineering environments \n
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations \n
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and manage expectations. \n
