Adults Social Worker- Community/Autism [Warrington]

Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Community/Autism Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and person-centred support planning for autistic adults and individuals with a range of care and support needs.
\n
• Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming social work practice.
\n
• Manage safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, and interventions in line with relevant legislation and local procedures.
\n
• Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and support individuals with decision-making and best interest processes where required.
\n
• Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, health professionals, and partner agencies to coordinate effective support and access to community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and statutory documentation while managing a diverse and complex caseload.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
\n
