Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)?? Location: Grimsby ?? Salary: £40,000-£43,000 ?? Shifts: Days, covering 5 out of 7 daysWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing operation.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking business where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and efficiency across the site.The RoleWorking as part of the engineering and maintenance team, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities across a range of automated production machinery and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsMinimise downtime and support continuous productionMaintain and improve automated machinery and control systemsSupport installation, commissioning, and modification of equipmentRead and work from electrical and mechanical drawingsAssist with continuous improvement and process optimisation projectsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding ability and experience within a manufacturing or production environment.Essential Skills & ExperienceApprentice trained or engineering qualifiedStrong electrical maintenance backgroundMulti-skilled with good mechanical knowledgeExperience fault finding on production/manufacturing equipmentKnowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and automation systemsAbility to read electrical and engineering drawingsStrong understanding of health & safety proceduresExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyDesirable ExperienceExperience within automated manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systemsPrevious involvement in continuous improvement activitiesWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary packageOvertime opportunitiesStable and growing businessTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive engineering team and modern production environmentPension and holiday packageThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled maintenance engineer looking for a varied and rewarding role within a highly automated engineering environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
