We're working with a significant UK based Insurance Group who are growing their Large Corporate Underwriting team in the Midlands . This is a great chance to work on complex, high-value cases that really matter.

This business manages large corporate accounts (over £100k premium), contributing to a portfolio exceeding £200m GWP. This is a role where your decisions shape outcomes, influence strategy and directly impact major UK businesses.

• Own and manage your own portfolio

• Assess complex property risks and negotiate terms

• Work closely with brokers, agents, and clients

• Play a key role in delivering fair outcomes and exceptional service

• Support client meetings and help strengthen long-term relationships
\n
• Work in a collaborative, down-to-earth team where your voice is heard

• Access strong development opportunities and ongoing training

• Enjoy flexible working (up to 4 days from home)

• Regular in-person collaboration to stay connected and energised

• Experience underwriting commercial property risks in the UK market
\n
• Background from insurer or broker environment
\n
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
\n
• A commercial mindset with the confidence to influence decisions
\n
• A collaborative, forward-thinking approach
\n
• CII qualifications are welcomed - but not essential. Support is provided if you want to work towards them.

• Salary £45,000 based on experience
