This business is currently investing in improving its engineering standards and is looking for motivated engineers who want to make a real impact on site performance and reliability.Working within a large engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This is an ideal role for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and is keen to drive improvements.You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of high-speed production and packaging machinery.Sector – Factory Maintenance (FMCG)Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to scheduleRespond to breakdowns and perform rapid fault diagnosisMaintain and repair production and packaging equipmentRecord all maintenance activity to support asset history and reliabilityWork to high engineering and safety standards, including food-safe practicesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the siteEquipment You Will Work On Conveyors, belts, bearings, and chainsPackaging machineryDrives, sensors, inverters, and motorsTypical faults include:Conveyor breakdowns and jamsFaulty sensors causing stoppagesOven temperature issuesPackaging machine misfeedsPneumatic failuresNon-Negotiable Requirements Multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing/factory environmentEngineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Desirable Requirements Experience within FMCG or food manufacturingExposure to high-volume production machineryThe Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Will Benefit From: Working for a stable and growing manufacturing businessOpportunity to influence and improve engineering standardsSupportive leadership focused on development and progressionCompany pension25 days holiday + bank holidaysTPBN1_UKTJ
