A well-established and busy firm of Corporate Insolvency Practitioners is seeking a Bankruptcy Administrator to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of insolvency cases and is known for delivering a high standard of professional service across both corporate and personal insolvency matters.

The Role

\n

As a Bankruptcy Administrator, you will support the delivery and management of a varied caseload of bankruptcy appointments. Working closely with senior staff and Insolvency Practitioners, you will ensure cases are progressed efficiently, compliantly, and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Manage a portfolio of bankruptcy cases from appointment through to closure
  • \n
  • Prepare statutory documentation, including reports to creditors and the Insolvency Service
  • \n
  • Liaise with bankrupt individuals, creditors, solicitors, and other stakeholders
  • \n
  • Assist with asset realisations, including property and other recoveries
  • \n
  • Conduct investigations into the affairs of bankrupt individuals
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and best practice
  • \n
  • Support senior team members with more complex cases where required
  • \n

Requirements

  • Previous experience in personal insolvency, ideally with exposure to bankruptcy cases
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of insolvency procedures and legislation
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • \n
  • Proficiency in insolvency case management systems is advantageous
  • \n
