Job Description

We're looking for an experienced HR People Partner (Generalist) to join our growing professional services organisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, influencing leaders, and making a genuine impact on both people and business performance.

You'll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing commercially focused HR advice while driving initiatives that create a positive, high-performing workplace. If you're equally comfortable coaching senior stakeholders, managing complex employee relations cases, and delivering people projects, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing\n
    \n
  • Partnering with managers to provide proactive, commercially focused HR support.
  • \n
  • Coaching and developing leaders to build confident, high-performing teams.
  • \n
  • Managing a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases.
  • \n
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and workforce planning where required.
  • \n
  • Driving engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
  • \n
  • Leading recruitment activity for key roles and supporting effective onboarding.
  • \n
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • \n
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • \n
  • Contributing to strategic HR projects that support the organisation's continued growth.
  • \n

Profile

\n

You'll be an experienced HR professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills. You enjoy solving problems, influencing decisions and finding practical solutions that work for both people and the business.

\n

Ideally, you'll have:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor.
  • \n
  • Experience working within a professional services environment (or a similarly fast-paced, client-focused business).
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • \n
  • Confidence managing complex employee relations matters independently.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
  • \n
