Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Early Help/SafeguardingTeam.

Responsibilities of this role:

    \n
  • Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and person-centred support planning for adults with care and support needs.
  • \n
  • Manage safeguarding concerns and lead Section 42 enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014, local policies, and procedures.
  • \n
  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through strength-based practice and early intervention.
  • \n
  • Assess and manage risk, applying the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and safeguarding legislation appropriately.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with adults, carers, families, and multi-agency partners to coordinate effective support.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate case records, prepare reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and safeguarding forums.
  • \n

Requirements of this role:

    \n
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • \n
  • Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
  • \n
