\n\nWe are currently looking for a Support Driver to assist with delivery and collection of boards, barriers and van stock to operational sites across Poole Region.
\n\nI help to keep people safe and warm by…
\n· Carrying out deliveries of NRSWA compliant equipment to sites in a timely manner and ensuring site clearance is complete to mitigate the risk of penalty charge from local authorities
\n· Delivering materials to teams working on site
\n· Performing some supporting standby duties
\n· Co-ordinating store duties
\nDuDuring periods of driver annual leave or sickness absence, you may berequired to provide support with the daily dispatch function, includingallocating and coordinating work for your colleagues using the A–Z dispatchsystem. As such, a good level of IT literacy and confidence usingcomputer-based systems would be beneficial. Full training will be providedwhere required, and flexibility to support the wider team is essential
\n\nWhat you’ll need
\n· Good communication skills, including the ability to converse with members of the public
\n· You will be expected to be flexible and to work variable hours participating in a standby rota
\n· Some experience or aptitude in the use of smart phones/tablets would be an advantage
\n· A full UK license is required
\n· Accreditation for towing trailers and up to 7.5t preferred but not essential
\n· Some knowledge of the gas industry would be an advantage
\n· NRSWA tickets units 1 and 2 and a drivers CPC qualification card would be an advantage
