Warehouse Assistant Manager

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent Warehouse Assistant Manager for our prestigious client based in Dartford.

Job Role:

• To support the Warehouse Manager in the safe, efficient and compliant running of the warehouse across ambient, chilled and frozen environments.
\n
• To lead warehouse operatives during assigned shifts, overseeing picking, packing, loading, dispatch and Goods-in activities, ensuring all stock is handled, stored and rotated correctly.
\n
• Working in parallel with the stock controller. Providing operational continuity across shifts and supporting stock related tasks when required in a small team environment.
\n
• To maintain food safety, hygiene and audit compliance.
\n
• The designated point of responsibility in the Warehouse managers absence, responding to emergencies, and ensuring full operational continuity.

Experience & Qualifications

\n
• Full UK Driving
\n
• Experience in warehouse Operations, FMCG or food distribution
\n
• Understanding of chilled/frozen handling standards
\n
• Experience supervising or leading small teams
\n
• Basic understanding of manual handling and warehouse safety procedures.
\n

The role requires flexibility across early, late and weekend shifts as operationally required. At 40 hours per week.
