Accounts Payable Manager

Reed Finance are seeking an Interim European Accounts Payable Manager to support our global client’s finance team. Initially this role will be on an interim basis for a minimum of 6 months, however could well be extended.

This hands-on role involves managing AP, expenses and e-invoicing process delivery across multiple European countries.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Lead and develop a team of AP professionals across multiple European countries.
\n
• Oversee end-to-end supplier invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment execution.
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of both purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
\n
• Manage European AP & Controls, acting as the primary Finance contact for AP across designated countries.
\n
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and local requirements.
\n
• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and process standardisation programmes.
\n
• Drive adoption of new processes and controls across Europe as part of change management.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Strong, proven Accounts Payable experience within a multinational organisation.
\n
• Significant experience managing European AP operations across multiple entities.
\n
• Proven experience with intercompany accounting, recharges, and reconciliations.
\n
• Strong experience managing multi-currency transactions and international payments.
\n
• Hands-on experience implementing or managing e-invoicing solutions within Europe.
\n

This role will be working on a hybrid basis.
