Your new companyHays are working with a well-established organisation in Telford who are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administrator looking for an immediate start within a busy and welcoming office environment.

Your new roleAs the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front-of-house function. Duties will include:

• Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional manner

• Managing a busy switchboard and directing calls appropriately
\n
• Handling incoming and outgoing post
\n
• Maintaining visitor logs and issuing passes
\n
• Booking meeting rooms and coordinating refreshments
\n
• Providing administrative support to wider teams as required
\n
• Ensuring reception and communal areas remain presentable at all times
\n

What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative role. Strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and confidence working in a busy environment are essential. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent organisational skills.
