As part of the restructure at our Ashford Site, we have introduced the Team Manager position at site. This role will be a leader of multidisciplinaryoperations team and will be expected to deliver allaspects of output tostandard metrics (SQDCPM) Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Performance and Morale in an engaging and collaborative way to create capability and overall delivery.

    Take ownership of changeovers and ensure effective shift handovers

    Follow SIC and escalation processes to resolve performance issues

    Review and sign off shift performance results

Short Interval Control & Directional Setting

    Deliver effective in-shift SIC execution and escalation

    Ensure DS1 is completed and drives clear actions into DS2

    Support daily direction setting to achieve shift goals

Key Skills & Competencies

    Proven team leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and manage performance, supported by a positive attitude and growth mindset.

  • \n

    Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including Food Safety Level 3, HACCP Level 3, and experience working within regulated food manufacturing environments (BRCGS/ISO 22000 desirable).

  • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Practical experience applying CI tools and techniques, leading improvement initiatives, and supporting change implementation to improve performance.

  • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence peers and senior stakeholders to achieve results.

  • \n

    Ability to analyse data and performance trends, with a basic understanding of financial drivers, budgeting processes, and business performance measures.
