Night Driver

Working an average 48 hour week, Monday to Friday, your typical start time would be 1700hrsDutiesWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver at our Middlesbrough site.Reporting to the Transport Manager in Middlesbrough and operating in a competitive market, you will be the face of Univar when delivering to our customers.Key Responsibilities and TasksThe role would suit a competent individual with experience of trunking as you will be trunking and trailer swapping between our Univar Solutions locations, Widnes, Irlam & Cumbernauld being the most regular.The role requires working to high standards in all aspects of your duties and the capability to work alone.You will be serious about safety in everything you do and happy to be a team player.EquipmentDedicated 75 plate DAF XG with built in sat nav, all round mirror cameras, fridge and safety related aidsSDC trailers with bungee net load security systemWe Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be flexible with work times.It is essential that you are self-motivated and willing to learn.You will have high standards in all that you do and possess excellent customer service skills.An ADR certificate in packages and class 1 (C+E) HGV license is essential for this role.Experienced in working night shiftsGood knowledge of smart phones to work with apps for reporting defects, tachohgraph compliance and driver telematicsTPBN1_UKTJ
