HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Day and Night Trunkers NeededEveshamDifferent Shift Types AvailableWe are currently looking for several Class 1 trunkers for a variety of shift patterns available. This will be temp to perm and will have a few different shift patterns available. The role is trunking between Regional Distribution Centers. The role is dealing with refrigerated goods.Currently needing 8 drivers covering the following shift patterns:4 x 4on/4off Nights (start time around 23:00/00:00)4 x 4on/4off Days (start time around 11:00/12:00)No nights out requiredPay rates:Mon-Fri Days £17/hrMon-Fri Nights £18/hrSat-Sun Days £18/hrSat-Sun Nights £20/hrKey points for our criteria:Maximum of 6 points on licenceNo BA, CD, DD, DR, LC, UT, MR driving offences on licenceAC, CU, PC, IN, MS, MW will be reviewed by the O Licence holder on a case-by-case basisDrivers must have HGV Class 1 Driving Experience and be covered under your DNIPlanned shifts should get the driver back within 12 hoursNight deliveries will involve self-tipping at Lidl depots and some pallet breakdown may be required, drivers should be fit and physically able to do thisAll deliveries are main to RDCs. Day deliveries may involve self-tip at Aldi amongst other delivery points where they will just back onto a bay. Good communication is key to report any discrepancies or truck/trailer issues while out on the road For the right candidate there may be the opportunity of a temp-to-perm positionAll drivers will be required to complete a practical driving assessment and theory paper on drivers hours and road safety, this usually takes around 2.5hours. If successful, you will then be invited back for an induction day before being able to start working for us.Assessments are available any days next week.TPBN1_UKTJ
