Through innovation, science, technology, and maintaining a clear focus on people, we make mobility possible.We have an exciting opportunity for an Assembly Technician to join our team at our head office in Basingstoke.The role:As Assembly Technician you will assemble, service and repair electrical/mechanical components, including pneumatics and hydraulics. You will determine the action required when a product is returned.Key duties and responsibilities: Assembling of electrical/mechanical components including pneumatics and hydraulics using drawings and work instructions.Self-inspection and testing.Final inspection of finished goods with a strong commitment to quality.Picking of parts and kits required to carry out tasksAcquisition of spare parts as required for repair technicians.Creation of requests to return products to customers, stock, service stock or for scrap.Scrappage of products and associated parts deemed of no further use.What are we looking for?As Assembly Technician, you will have the following:Key skills and experience: Educated to GCSE level C or above in Maths and English.Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Office or equivalentElectronic/electro-mechanical assembly or service experienceGood communication skillsAbility to communicate at a technical level and hold their own, both internally with NPD Engineers and Customers.Thorough understanding of electro-mechanical and hydro-pneumatic assembliesTeam playerAbility to communicate at all levelsWhat can we off you?As Assembly Technician, you will receive the following:Benefits Competitive salary25 days holiday - increased after service.Option to purchase additional holidayLunch time finish on a Friday.Onsite parkingPensionDeath in ServiceOn demand payHealth cash planDiscounted shopping/leisure activity vouchersCycle to work schemeOpportunity to be part of an award-winning organisation with a culture that centres around our core values; courage, learning, integrity, collaboration, and innovationTJBLATCHFORDTPBN1_UKTJ
