An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our client a world leading global aerospace manufacturing organisation in Belfast as Machinist. Paying £33795.32 to £36782.72 per annum pro rata, working 36 hour week. Initially these roles are on a temporary basis but will reviewed. In recent years the majority of our temporary workforce have transferred to permanent employment with our client.Purpose of the JobTo machine a variety of composite & metallic component parts on a multi-axis CNC machinePRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESMachine composite & metallic component parts using multi-axis CNC machineryAssist engineering with part proveouts and machine alignmentsEnsure finished work conforms to engineering requirementsPlan the most cost effective method to produce components to drawing requirementsPerform weekly TPM checksSet up cutting tools as per CNC program requirementsSet up parts as per EPR requirements on programmable actuators and solid fixturesThe successful candidateHave served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship and have at least 1 year's relevant post apprenticeship machining experience within the last 5 yearsHave an understanding of CNC programmingBe able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other related technical documentationBe prepared to work a range of shiftsAn understanding 5-axis machine kinematics would be advantageousA knowledge of Siemens 840D / Fanuc controllers would be advantageousIt is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the CV to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
