The business designs, manufactures and supplies specialist products to the UK housing sector from a modern, well-invested facility. Due to continued growth and ongoing investment in automation, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team.You'll be joining a company with an exceptionally loyal workforce and a supportive Engineering Manager who is passionate about developing engineers through training and continuous improvement.The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime across the production facility.Your responsibilities will include:Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Reactive maintenance and breakdown responseElectrical and mechanical fault finding and repairsMaintaining ABB robotic welding cells, Trumpf laser cutting machines and other automated production equipmentSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliabilityAbout YouTo be successful in this role you'll ideally have:Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environmentStrong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience carrying out planned and reactive maintenancePLC fault-finding and/or robotics experience would be advantageous but is not essentialExcellent communication skills and the ability to work within a close-knit engineering teamA desire to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term careerWhat's in it for You?£45,000-£55,000 salaryPermanent day shiftModern manufacturing facilitySignificant investment in machinery and automation, with further investment plannedOngoing training and career developmentOn-site gymElectric vehicle charging points33 days holidayFriendly, supportive team with regular social eventsStable, family-run business with excellent employee retentionIf you're looking for a secure Maintenance Engineer position within a growing manufacturer that genuinely invests in both its people and technology, we'd love to hear from you.
