Salary up to £60,000An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Company Accountant to join a well-established property business based in the heart of Glasgow. This is a broad and varied role offering significant responsibility across financial and management accounting, as well as the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders and gain visibility across the wider business.This position would suit a hands-on accountant who enjoys working within a smaller organisation, taking ownership of the finance function and supporting business operations beyond traditional accounting duties.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the financial records for multiple UK entitiesPrepare monthly management information and financial reportsMaintain rolling cash flow forecasts and monitor funding requirementsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and oversee control accountsMonitor property expenditure against budgets and analyse variancesManage tenant invoicing, debtor reporting and service charge reconciliationsPrepare payroll and HMRC submissionsLiaise with external accountants, auditors and advisersReview year-end accounts and corporation tax returnsMonitor banking facilities and covenant complianceSupport wider bookkeeping, finance and administrative activities as requiredAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experiencePrevious experience in a Company Accountant, Financial Accountant or Management Accountant roleStrong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems such as XeroExperience within property, real estate or a related sector would be advantageous.Comfortable working in a small business environment with a hands-on approachStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsWhat's on Offer??
