Manufacturing Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business with their search for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team based in Kirkbymoorside.The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a complex engineering environment. Experience within composites is advantageous, but candidates with transferable manufacturing engineering skills are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Identify and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing techniques.Support production teams with process plans, job cards, and manufacturing documentation.Lead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis to reduce repeat issues.Support first-off builds, tooling requirements, and manufacturing improvements.Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve efficiency and product performance.Key Requirements:Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and problem-solving methods.Strong communication and organisational skills.Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC) or relevant industry experience.Composites experience would be advantageous, but transferable manufacturing experience will be considered.The Package:Health Cash PlanHalf-day FridaysExcellent Pension SchemeAnnual Bonus (subject to terms and conditions)Enhanced Holiday SchemeEmployee Assistance Programme and Health & Wellbeing SupportTPBN1_UKTJ
