Job Titles: 2 x Extended Services Positions - Manager and Support Further Details and hours: Role 1: Breakfast Club and After School Club Manager working from 8am - 9pm and 2.30pm - 6pm (if you're unable to commit to the morning, please still apply!) £17.50 per hour. Role 2: Breakfast Club and After School Club Support from 8am - 9am & 3.30am - 5.45 or 5.30pm. £15 per hour. Location: Rotherhithe, Southwark - nearest station: Rotherhithe, Canada Water/Surrey Quays Start Date: Tue 1st September 26 - Feb 27 (likely to extend until July 27) Contract: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Job summary: To provide day-to-day management, quality childcare provision and supervise support staff in Extended Services which includes Breakfast Club and After School Club. Breakfast Club - 8am - 9am (EYFS - Year 6) After School Club 3.30pm to 5.45pm/6pm (EYFS - Year 6) Main duties include: Planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment. Providing comprehensive care for the children. Providing support and supervision to playworkers and volunteers. Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment. Proving food and refreshment and ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met. Administering first aid where necessary. Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities. Holding staff meetings and conducting regular reviews and appraisal for staff. Administration and record keeping, including staff and child records, financial records, ordering and purchasing and working within an agreed budget, Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the community including parents/carers, children, Extended Services Manager, Headteacher and other organisations. Undertaking appropriate and relevant training. Monitoring and maintain a health, safety and secure environment.
