Purchasing Administrator (Temporary)Location: Great Dunmow (Office Based)Salary: £13.50 - £14.35 per hour (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmContract: Temporary (Immediate Start until the end of the year)Purchasing Administrator - Immediate Start Mosaic Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly and well-established local business based in Great Dunmow, who are looking to recruit a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator with excellent attention to detail to support a busy purchasing department during a peak period. The role is expected to run until the end of the year and is fully office-based. You'll be joining a small, supportive team where your contribution will be valued from day one.The Role As Purchasing Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the purchasing function, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and supplier information is maintained. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.Key Responsibilities\n

- Raise and process purchase orders accurately. \n
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and lead times. \n
- Update and maintain purchasing records and internal databases. \n
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers where required. \n
- Assist with supplier queries and resolve any discrepancies. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems. \n
- Support the wider office and purchasing team with general administration. \n
- Ensure information is entered accurately onto internal systems. \n
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. \n

- Previous administration experience, ideally within a purchasing, procurement or office environment. \n
- Excellent attention to detail. \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills. \n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. \n
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. \n
- The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines. \n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. \n
