Group Financial Accountant

Elevation Senior Finance are recruiting a Group Financial Accountant to work for a successful market leading business in Doncaster. This is a head office role with the benefit of hybrid working, 2–3 days per week in the office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to make their first move into industry or someone with strong financial reporting experience seeking a varied role within a growing organisation.

You will be responsible for managing corporate financial reporting and accounting compliance across the Group, ensuring accurate statutory reporting and supporting lender reporting requirements. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of external reporting processes as the business continues to evolve.Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory accounts for all Group entities
\n
• Manage corporate financial reporting and accounting compliance
\n
• Produce and reconcile group consolidation and management reporting
\n
• Support quarterly lender, bond and covenant reporting
\n
• Provide technical financial accounting support across the business
\n
• Assist with the development of external reporting and governance processes
\n

You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with:

\n
• Experience in financial reporting and IFRS/FRS101 accounting standards
\n
• Experience preparing or auditing group consolidations within a complex group
\n
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
\n
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
\n
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work to deadlines
\n

Experience within a top 10 accountancy firm will be beneficial.Benefits:
