Our client, a successful and growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their established finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you'll support accurate financial reporting, month-end processes, and commercial insight while gaining broad exposure across a successful and forward-thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to develop their management accounting skills within a varied and supportive environment.

The responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
\n
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
\n
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and accounting adjustments
\n
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting processes
\n
• Support cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, and audit requirements
\n
• Manage multi-currency transactions and related accounting activities
\n
• Maintain accurate royalty, commission, and financial records
\n
• Provide support across the wider finance team and assist with process improvements
\n

The candidate:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounting environment
\n
• Experience supporting management accounts and month-end processes
\n
• Strong Excel skills with confidence using accounting systems
\n
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
\n
• Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within a finance career
\n
