Senior Project Manager - People Change & Transformation

A leading media organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a significant people change programme. This initial six-month contract offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, including the COO and Editing Chief, to deliver meaningful transformation. You'll drive hands-on delivery of new processes, policies, training materials, and technology solutions while fostering collaboration and engagement across diverse stakeholders

• Oversee daily operations across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Build trust with senior leaders, unions, and employees through effective stakeholder engagement.
\n
• Facilitate consultation processes to gather feedback and incorporate it into programme design.
\n
• Deliver policy changes, process improvements, training development, and technology rollouts.
\n
• Support the Programme Director as a trusted advisor and operational lead.
\n
• Champion change management practices through clear communication and training initiatives.
\n

• Proven experience managing large-scale people change programmes within media or similar environments.
\n
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including union consultation and employee relations.
\n
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and adaptability under tight deadlines.
\n
• Hands-on approach with expertise in change management and consultation processes.
\n
• Familiarity with editorial workflows or freelance engagement models is a plus.
\n
