Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well established Liverpool based organisation who is looking to recruit a high calibre Payroll and Benefits Analyst.Salary and Benefits£35000 per annum25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysHybrid working model in placeFree parking on siteMain duties and responsibilitiesManaging end-to-end monthly payroll processingManage statutory payments (PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, etc.), RTI returns, P11Ds, and year-end reportingEnsure compliance and develop a comprehensive knowledge of payroll, benefits taxation, pension, and data protection legislation and keep up to date with developments accordinglyPerform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly utilising pre payroll reconciliation reports, preparatory pre and payroll and benefits audit checks in order to gain authorisation to proceed to paymentPreparing reports and data analysis ensuring data is accuratePerform payroll and benefits system testing and contribute ideas to improving the functionality and performance of the systemDevelop advanced SAP Success Factors skills and act as a Super-User in providing guidance and support to other team membersManaging relationships with benefits and systems providersPreparing and validating payroll data including bonuses, one off payments and expensesInvolvement in project work to improve and develop systems, processes and procedures and to deliver improvement initiatives to the organisationMaintaining accurate records, SOPs and systemsAdministering employee benefits and responding to payroll and benefits queriesProvide expert advice within the organisation and externally, where requiredLiaise with internal and external auditors, to ensure compliance with policy, procedures and statutory requirements at all timesProduce total reward statements and support pay, benefits and reward policy developmentSupporting employee engagement through delivering effective customer service and supportDrive awareness of payroll, benefits and reward frameworks across the organisationOperate in line with group wide policies including EHS and ED&IAny other responsibilities deemed suitable to the role and where trained to do soSkills desiredCIPP qualification or commitment to work towardsStrong understanding of UK payroll and benefits processes and statutory requirementsExperience handling sensitive data and working with payroll and benefits systems with a commitment to confidentiality are essential.Confident using excel and highly organisedHave the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and influencing skillsHave a proactive and solutions driven mindsetHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsTPBN1_UKTJ
