Property Underwriter

A financial services organisation in north Bristol is currently recruiting a Property Underwriter to join their team.

This is a newly created role working for a growing business that has just secured significant funding.With further plans for expansion, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field.

Duties will include:

• Assess and underwrite loan applications
\n
• Assess and resolve risk or any issues with applications
\n
• Approve and reject applications in line with policy and mandate
\n
• Recommend loans to Head of Lending where they fall outside of mandate
\n
• Review valuation reports
\n
• Asses credit reports and ensure applications are verified
\n
• Liaise with brokers, borrowers and other professional partners
\n

Previous experience of working in underwriting is essential. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a decisive decision maker and have excellent time management skills
