By combining technology with strong customer service, we help patients access their medicines conveniently and reliably.We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Level 2 Qualified Dispensing Services Assistants to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.The RoleAs a Dispensing Services Assistant, you will support the efficient processing and dispensing of prescriptions within a regulated distance-selling pharmacy environment, working closely with pharmacists and the wider team to ensure patients receive their medications accurately, safely, and on time.What You'll Be Doing\n

\n
• Accurately dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
\n
• Select, label, and prepare medicines for dispensing and dispatch
\n
• Process prescription requests and patient orders using pharmacy systems
\n
• Prepare and package medications for home delivery
\n
• Manage stock control activities, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
\n
• Maintain accurate dispensing and patient records
\n
• Respond professionally to patient enquiries via telephone, email, and online platforms
\n
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GPhC standards, and relevant legislation
\n
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and compliant dispensary environment
\n
• Support continuous improvement within the pharmacy team
\n

What You'll BringEssential:\n

\n
• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services (or equivalent recognised dispensing qualification)
\n
• Previous experience in a pharmacy dispensing role
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
\n
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
\n
• Good communication and customer service skills
\n
• Ability to work well as part of a team under daily volume pressure
\n
• Competent IT skills and experience using dispensing systems
\n

Desirable:\n

\n
• Experience working in a Distance Selling Pharmacy
\n
• Knowledge of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
\n
• Experience using Pharmacy Management Record (PMR) systems
\n
• Understanding of NHS pharmacy services and regulations
\n
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
\n
