Your responsibilities will include:Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchenPrepare and cook high-quality dishes to a consistent standardLead, motivate and support the kitchen team during serviceManage stock levels, ordering and food costsMaintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standardsAssist with menu planning using fresh, seasonal Scottish produceWork closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an excellent guest experienceSupport weddings, private dining and special eventsHelp develop new dishes and continually improve the food offeringYour personality, experience and qualifications You have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star or luxury hospitality setting. You'll ideally have:Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishesExperience contributing to seasonal menu planning and developmentConfident leading, motivating and developing a kitchen teamExcellent communication skills with a strong command of EnglishOrganised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchenA positive, hands-on approach with a commitment to high standardsAvailable to start immediately and quickly settle into a temporary roleThis is an immediate start opportunity for someone with existing experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role, seeking a streamlined path to furthering your career.
