With an experienced Responsible Individual already in place and an experienced Registered Manager close to appointment, you'll become a key part of the founding leadership team.You'll play an instrumental role in establishing the home's culture, supporting the Registered Manager through registration, and helping to build an exceptional staff team from the very beginning.The RoleAs Deputy Manager, you will:Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the homeLead shifts and provide guidance to the wider staff teamPromote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environmentSupport safeguarding, care planning and regulatory complianceMentor and develop Residential Support Workers and Team LeadersAssist with recruitment, inductions and staff developmentParticipate in sleep-ins as part of the rotaHelp prepare the home for successful Ofsted registration and inspectionAbout YouWe're looking for someone who has:Level 3 Diploma in Residential ChildcarePrevious experience working within a children's residential homeStrong leadership skills and a child-centred approachA passion for delivering exceptional outcomesFull UK Driving LicenceFull right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)Ability to commute locally to OldburyAt RJS Resourcing, we partner with values-driven children's home providers across the UK and work on a continuous stream of exciting opportunities within residential childcare.
