Job DescriptionTo ensure that the financial targets of the commercial catering operations are achieved in line with performance review requirements.To ensure that the Kitchen and Stores Team Leader is supported in managing the curriculum support team to work effectively supporting the curriculum function.To ensure a vibrant and lively learning environment for all students in the Commercial outlets The Silver Plate and Grab and GoTo ensure that learner assessments are carried out in line with awarding body requirements.To develop the commercial activity in line with industry, new innovations and developing trends.To promote the restaurant as a commercial opportunity for internal and external stakeholdersEnsure that the reputation of the Silver Plate continues to grow.Operationally lead the curriculum support team and the Silver Plate restaurantLead the day-to-day operational running of the catering support function and the Silver Plate restaurant, in line with the curriculum offer and the curriculum teamWork with the Kitchen and Stores Team Leader to ensure that the food stock and equipment costs, within the curriculum area are in line with budgetary constraintsEnsure controls are in place to ensure that financial returns are completed in order to meet internal financial deadlines liaise with finance to ensure compliance with financial regulationsAbout usThe Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually.
