SAP Data Warehouse Analyst

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP BW Development & SupportSupport, maintain, and enhance SAP BW data warehouse and reporting solutions.Design, develop, test, implement, document, and support enhancements to existing reporting and analytics platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve data warehouse performance, data quality, and system issues.Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of BW environments and related applications.Manage and support data integration and reporting requirements across the organisation.Business Analysis & Solution DeliveryCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document reporting and data requirements.Translate business needs into scalable and effective data warehouse solutions.Conduct systems analysis, development, testing, and deployment activities.Support new application implementations and integration projects.Deliver user support, training, and issue resolution throughout the solution lifecycle.Operational SupportProvide application and reporting support within agreed service levels.Monitor Helpdesk and Change Management systems to manage incoming workload effectively.Resolve incidents, service requests, and data-related issues in a timely manner.Perform preventative maintenance and system health checks.Maintain technical documentation and user guides.Governance & Continuous ImprovementEnsure data integrity, system security, and compliance with internal standards.Maintain configuration and change management records.Work with third-party suppliers and software vendors to implement enhancements and resolve issues.Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.Support data governance and best-practice data management initiatives.Required Skills & ExperienceEssentialDegree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related discipline.Strong experience supporting and developing SAP Business Warehouse (BW) solutions.Experience with SAP ABAP development.Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver.Experience working with BW Dataflows (3.x and 7.x).Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, database design, and data management.Experience using SAP Business Explorer (BEx) tools, including: Query DesignerWeb AnalyzerBEx AnalyzerExperience delivering and supporting business-critical applications within a large enterprise environment.Familiarity with formal systems development and delivery methodologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Desirable Skills & ExperienceExperience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated industries.Experience with SAP Business Process Automation by Redwood (formerly CPS Job Scheduler).Strong understanding of SAP BW architecture, including: Dataflows (3.x & 7.x)InfoObjectsDataSourcesDataStore Objects (DSOs)InfoCubesMultiProvidersExperience administering Process Chains and resolving data load failures.Strong knowledge of: BEx Query DesignerBEx AnalyzerWeb Application DesignerExperience supporting end users with reporting, analytics, and data-related queries.Ability to investigate and resolve data anomalies and unexpected reporting results.Experience monitoring BW batch processing and service performance.Exposure to enterprise reporting, data integration, and business intelligence platforms.Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver business insights and reporting solutions.TPBN1_UKTJ
