Job Description:Salary Range: £48,000 - £60,000Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.Your impactAs Senior Project Controller you will develop and maintain integrated plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, and risk, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones, budget constraints, and defence governance standards.Working within an established, multi-disciplinary team, you'll be supporting programme governance, performance measurement, audit readiness and Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) within secure environments.Integrated PlanningDevelop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Primavera P6 aligned with contractual milestonesDefine integrated schedules, resource plans, and time-phased cost allocationEstablish and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organisation Breakdown Structure (OBS), Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM), control accounts, and planning structuresEnsure schedule integrity, critical path visibility, and milestone alignmentConduct schedule risk analysis and recovery planning where requiredProject Controls & PerformanceImplement structured project controls frameworks aligned with defence best practiceEstablish and maintain scope, schedule, and cost baselinesSupport Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance analysis (CPI, SPI, ETC, EAC)Monitor progress, resources, workload, and budget performanceProduce KPI reporting and support corrective actions to maintain programme deliveryGovernance & Programme SupportSupport bidding and early programme planning, including schedule and budget definitionAnalyse contractual requirements and support risk management activitiesSupport Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), governance reviews, and client reportingMaintain programme control documentation including PMB, risk registers, and assumptions logsWhat you'll bringPrimavera P6 experienceKnowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)Experience in integrating schedule, cost, and risk dataExperience working in secure defence environmentsProject controls experience within defence, aerospace, or regulated industriesExperience supporting complex programmes or system-of-systems environmentIt would be advantageous if you have the following:APMG Project Controls Applied KnowledgeUnderstanding of MOD governance frameworksSAP experienceThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above.
