As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.ResponsibilitiesCommercial Management & Cost ControlManage and monitor project costs across multiple packages, ensuring accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and strict budget control on a large-scale data centre project.Subcontractor Procurement & PackagesLead procurement of subcontract packages, including tendering, analysis, negotiation, and appointment, ensuring best value and alignment with project programme.Valuations, Variations & PaymentsPrepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and payment applications, ensuring all commercial activities are accurately recorded and agreed.Contract Administration & Risk ManagementAdminister contracts in line with project requirements, identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect margins.Stakeholder Coordination & ReportingWork closely with project teams, site management, and subcontractors to provide regular commercial updates, cost reports, and support decision-making across the project lifecycle.RequirementsMust have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades backgroundMust have 6+ years previous experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projectsMust have UK Passport or RTW in the UKBenefits£70,000 - £90,000 + PackageTPBN1_UKTJ
