Field Service EngineerLocation: North West London£40,000 - £45,000Up to 15% annual bonusDaytime work Monday to FridayCompany car (Electric / Hybrid)Comprehensive Private Healthcare, Pension and Life Assurance28 days holidays + bank holidays and other leading benefitsSharesave SchemeFull product training providedJoin a Market-Leading Engineering GroupAn excellent opportunity has become available for a mechanically or electrically qualified engineer to join a globally recognised engineering organisation with UK manufacturing and an outstanding reputation for technical innovation, employee development and long-term career progression.The business specialises in manufacturing and servicing industrial solutions including:Steam systemsFlow controlInstrumentation, valves & actuatorsPumps & fluid handlingThis is an ideal opportunity for engineers looking to move into a specialist field service role with full product training and genuine long-term development.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role supporting Industrial, Food Manufacturing, Breweries, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Hospitals / NHS customers across Northwest London including areas across Enfield, Watford, Wembley, Uxbridge, St Albans, Borehamwood, Welwyn Garden City and surrounding areas.You will be responsible for:Servicing, maintaining and commissioning steam systemsFault finding and carrying out repairs on customer sitesSupporting customers with technical advice and trainingCompleting technical assessments and service reportsAlways ensuring high health & safety standardsThis is a highly varied role combining hands-on engineering, customer interaction and technical problem solvingTraining & DevelopmentThe training in this role will be extensive, and you will spend a large amount of time with senior service engineers and service leaders to learn the products and engineering aspects of the role. They will also fund relevant training courses such as safe isolation, electrical 101 and working at height as well as investing in your development through the business. Regular product training will also be given with regular opportunity to spend time with the wider team.ExperienceThe successful Field Service Engineer must have a mechanical or electrical qualification and may have worked with steam technology or boiler systems however this is not a requirement.
