Job OverviewPRECISION MOULDS AND TOOLS SERVICES LIMITED have been producing multi-impression precision injection mould tools for the medical industry for over 35 years, and are looking for experienced Toolmakers, Improvers, Surface/Cylindrical Grinders, and CNC Millers to join our established team to support continued business growth.Company OverviewThis is a fantastic opportunity for skilled engineers to join a forward-thinking company who are going through an exciting period of growthThe successful candidates will be involved in manufacturing high precision injection mould tools in a clean and well equipped toolroom, with Micron CNC High Speed machining centres, Charmille CNC Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, Jones & Shipman surface grinders, in house design using UniGraphics, and CAM programming using VisiThe successful candidates will join a highly skilled technical team of toolmakers and will have extensive opportunities for training and further personal developmentRole ResponsibilitiesUse of manual milling machinesUse of lathesUse of surface and cylindrical grindersUse of CNC spark eroders (training given)Use of CNC wire eroders (training given)Manufacture and fitting of new injection mould toolsModification & repair of Injection Mould ToolsExperience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fittingAssist the Production Team in trouble shooting tooling and moulding faultsEnsure that the Companys Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to throughoutBenefits/package20 days annual leave, plus 8 statutory holidaysSalary based on experience1 week Christmas shutdown, in addition to annual leaveFlexible working hours between 6.30am and 6.30pmAdditional Overtime hours availableFree on-site parkingCompany pension schemeQualifications/Experience RequiredExperience in manufacturing precision engineering components for moulds and toolsAbility to read and interpret detailed engineering drawingsExperience with Grinding, Milling, and Spark Erosion techniquesAbility to work to tight tolerances and high standards of quality, and completing tasks on timeSkilled in tool modifications, repairs, and refurbishmentsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsProficient in the use of all toolroom machinery and equipmentExperience with CAD/CAM programming is a plusExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.TPBN1_UKTJ
