Job Title: Quality ManagerLocation: PeterboroughSalary: £41,200Industry: Food ManufacturingJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeShift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm (40 hours per week)Quality Manager Benefits:Competitive salary of £41,2004% employer pension contributionHealthcare benefitsEnhanced maternity & paternity payDeath in Service benefit25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysCareer development and training opportunitiesKey Quality Manager Responsibilities:Lead the site's Food Safety and Quality function.Deputise for the Technical Manager when required.Manage and develop the Laboratory team.Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP and customer standards.Lead customer complaints, investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).Drive improvements in GMP, Food Safety and Quality Culture across the site.Support customer and third-party audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.Work closely with Operations and Engineering to improve quality performance.Manage traceability, laboratory performance and supplier quality issues.Support NPD projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Quality Manager Requirements:Essential:Previous Quality Manager or Senior Quality experience within food manufacturing.Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP and food safety legislation.Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related discipline.Experience managing audits, quality systems and customer requirements.Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills.Excellent problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience.Desirable:Laboratory management experience.Knowledge of VACCP and TACCP.Experience supporting NPD projects.TPBN1_UKTJ
