Then please read onWe are currently looking for an Operative at our Packed Products plant in Northwich .As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety .You will also work across different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping.Tarmac is the UKs leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business.Our innovative products and solutions not only deliver the infrastructure needed to grow the UK economy today but also help to create a more sustainable built environment for the countrys long-term future.Main Responsibilities On a day-to-day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):Meeting daily production target requirementsReporting data for quality purposesMoving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehiclesMeeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaroundDriving continuous improvement of performance standardsContributing to continuous improvement of plant and production methodsMaintaining high standards of housekeepingThe Ideal Candidate As our ideal Operative, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment.You will also:Possess good communication skills and be numerateBe a proficient communicatorBe a strong team playerHave experience of manual handlingHold an FLT licence (desirable)This role is based at our Northwich Packed Products plant , which is easily commutable from the surrounding areas.At Tarmac, who you are matters .
