The RoleOur clients looking for experienced Engineers with both a strong Electrical or Mechanical bias to join their Engineering team, based in North WalesThis role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on fault finding, preventative maintenance, and driving equipment reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, whilst also potentially going to other sites and repairing and installing equipment.On Offer:£18 - £23 per hour depending on experienceDays and shifts availableThe RoleTo establish and maintain safe, compliant and effective engineering operations that continually develop the site's asset base by following the Engineering strategy for proactive work whilst responding to breakdowns.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform planned preventative and predictive maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment and complete breakdown repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtimeCarry out mechanical fault finding, repair and continuous improvement activities across production and site machinery both in the workshop and at client sitesSupport installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical systems and equipmentAssessing the need for spares by ensuring that the critical spares and spares list is up to date and stock is at the required levelsEscalate any issues in a timely manner to the Engineering ManagerEnsuring a safe environment by conducting all servicing and maintenance activities with minimal risk to employees, products and equipment. Champion safetyUsing root cause analysis on breakdowns to identify actions and drive completion of actions to prevent re-occurrenceSupport the energy reduction and sustainability agenda to reduce environmental impacts across the site by ensuring all actions are completedParticipate in daily and weekly review sessions to drive improvement throughout the siteSkills, Experience and QualificationsQualified or time served in Electrical Engineering disciplines - DesiredMechanical knowledge or multi-skilled experience would be advantageousStrong Electrical fault finding and maintenance experience within a manufacturing environmentExperienced in welding and fabrication- AdvantageousComputer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)NEBOSH with a sound knowledge of behavioural safety at a site level - DesirableLegionella and HACCP awareness - desirableExperience in FMCG - desirableBenefits once taken on full time: - This role is Temp to perm, so benefits are immediateOvertimeOther Benefits: Free parking, and company van to travel to site with Fuel cardIf this sounds like a great opportunity then please send your CV for immediate consideration or call for more details.TPBN1_UKTJ
