Role: Multi-Skilled EngineerLocation: Peterborough (Upwood)Salary: £44,000Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday (8am 4.30pm) and 1 in 4 SaturdaysThe RoleWe are looking for a versatile multi-skilled engineer to support both electrical and mechanical maintenance across our clients site.As a multi-skilled engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability through planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safelyRespond to breakdowns and diagnose faults quicklyWork across PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyorsComplete PPM tasks and maintain accurate recordsSupport installation and commissioning of equipmentDrive reliability improvements and reduce downtimeSkills required:Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Apprentice (multi-skilled preferred)Experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to read schematics and engineering drawingsProactive, team-oriented, and safety-focused18th Edition (desirable)Benefits:Career developmentContributory Pension SchemeEmployee Discount HubRefer a friend schemeFree fruit provided on siteCycle to Work SchemeTPBN1_UKTJ
