Land Surveyor / Topographical SurveyorDue to the recent award of a framework contract which guarantees projects in the Northwest for the next five years, our client now wishes to strengthen their operational team with the appointment of an experienced Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor.The main purpose of this position is to support the timely and successful delivery of projects in accordance with the contract programme, and without prejudice to the health and safety of employees, sub-contractors and the public, whilst also taking into full account all environmental considerations.The Role & Required ExperienceVerify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted on siteCalculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other characteristics of terrain to produce accurate volumetric informationPrepare and process data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveysTake measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevationsProcessing data from site surveys for modelling and client reportsCarry out the surveys and as-builts using related equipment (Trimble, Total Stations, GPS)Supporting various sites, teams and managers in the successful delivery of projectsLiteracy with industry related software (AutoCAD or N4CE for example)3D laser scanning across various types of terrain and sitesOur ClientOur client offers a full suite of surveying and geospatial services across a wide range of sectors, providing precise land, topographical and utility surveys, 3D modelling, laser-scanning and aerial surveys, ensuring clear, reliable data through advanced technology and expert analysis.Our clients precision-first approach and practical expertise minimise costly errors and delays, delivering dependable insights for informed decision-making across the UK.
